Wednesday
NDSU 67 vs IPFW 60
UMKC 69 vs IUPUI 72
SDSU 81 vs Oakland 86
SUU 53 vs WIU 61

Friday
SUU 54 vs IUPUI 59
SDSU 66 vs IPFW 100
NDSU 76 vs Oakland 77
UMKC 68 vs WIU 71
Centenary 59 vs ORU 82

The Game of the week is definitely Oakland vs NDSU. Last year the two played each other about as close as possible, and it should another nail biter on Friday.

IPFW vs NDSU is also intriguing simply due to the fact that NDSU has never won in Fort Wayne. NDSU has been playing better basketball on the road but this is a game that will show if that improvement is for real or not.

This is also a big week for SUU and SDSU, both have shown some promise but they will now get a tough road test.

NDSU has to figure out how to win on the road in the Summit. IPFW is a good place to start. If we don't win that one, it will be a sign of a tough road ahead.

NDSU was the only team with a road win this week. WIU is the only undefeated team left.

That's because they haven't come to Fargo yet! :D

My Summit League Power Rankings...

1. Oakland- Beating NDSU gives the Griz a slim but early edge in the power rankings.
2. NDSU- The Bison have a conference road win, which is something few Summit League teams can say. Saul also has them playing better ball on the road.
3. ORU- Still very talented, and if they get it together watch out.
4. WIU- Molinari has the Leathernecks on the right track, but WIU might get a rude awakening when they head on the road for the first time next week.
5. IUPUI- Hunter is a great coach and has done an admirable job in filling the void that George Hill left but the Jaguars still don't have the look of an upper tier team.
6. UMKC- The Kangaroos are capable of beating any team but they are also capable of losing to any team.
7. IPFW- Well they sure beat up on the Jacks...
8. SDSU- Well they beat Centenary...
9. Centenary- Ugh

Shock of the week....IPFW 100 SDSU 66, Iowa State must seem like a distant memory for Scott Nagy after having to take that game in. Don't know how you regroup after that pitiful effort.

Too lazy to start a new thread.....
but interesting that the same Oregon Ducks team that Oakland squeaked past in overtime earlier this season got blasted last night by 21 vs. USC on Oregon's home floor!

That explains our RPI rise after losing yesterday, and Minnesota's win today jumped us another 7 spots to 181.
