Have ESPN on TV, about 12:02 PM Saturday, they just talked about Woodside's performance and one of the announcers said he "just talked to Ben by cell phone..." and "Ben" (first name basis!) said his legs were a little tired. Both announcers said 'we "salute" Ben Woodside'.

I'm so old, I remember hearing the news when Pistol Pete set that record.

In spite of the loss, it's good marketing for NDSU and great for the Summit League.

They just had a thing on Woody at halftime of the Temple v. Tenn. game and they gave a full screen of his game stats. Jimmy Dykes also said he called him this morning and talked to him about the game.

yeah i heard that also....hell yeah woody....now if the other team would step it up and actually play defense we'd be solid.....i'm not sure if it was bad defense or them just shooting ungodly in the 1st and beginning of 2nd half.....then they started to slow down and when they were missing we came back.

Yeah even though we lost he still is getting a lot of positive attention!
