Good luck to the wrestlers.

If someone can make it to the quarters, that would be great!!

Nebraska won the tourney. Not suprised about the Bison. This is a men from the boys tourney. Hopefully the boys earned some good mat time. AT 9:30 ON BTN #1 IOWA-BLACKSBURG (rep to anyone who gets that joke) vs. #2 IOWA STATE

If you're in Iowa, this is on TV right now! If you want to know the scores after 5 matches, let me know. I'll try not to be the spoiler for this board.

I caught the 133 lb match. Wow, what a turn around!

This is probably the toughest tournament in the nation beside the national tournament itself. The returning national champion at 141 lbs did not even place. Nebraska won the team title and there were a lot of Big 10 and Big 12 teams there by the look of the brackets. NDSU had a very tough day and tough first round but won some matches in the wrestlebacks. None of the wrestlers were seeded and by the looks of the brackets and results of the first round it does not look like they got good draws.

Earlier in the season I read that Justin Solberg had won his wrestle-off to be the best at his weight(125). Did he later lose the spot? Is he hurt? Curious if anyone has an insight.

Is Sprenkle a true freshman as well??? If he's not I'm going to take a guess that the two of them are so close in their wrestle-offs that they will be better off redshirting Solberg. If Sprenkle is a true freshman as well then I don't know what they have going on over there.
