That Cal Poly game is going to be great, should be very little defense and a lot of offense in that game.

I thought Cal-Poly and Weber had defenses.

It's starting to look like a SWAC game. :hide:

Poly fading, down 35-21...come on Poly!!!

Nice way to rep So Ill. Seven turnovers in the game, Salukis only put one score up in the second half........and now for the really pathetic news from the game....the attendance:

5461

That's right, So Ill. was able to get 5,461 to show up for a playoff game. Was it in GF???:D Pretty sad, pretty sad.

While I'm on it, might as well do the rest of the games:

SC State @ Appy: 13,712
New Hampshire @ So. Ill: 5,461
Eastern Kentucky @ Richmond: 2,994
Colgate @ Villanova: 4,489
Wofford @ JMU: 12,826
Maine @ NIU: 8,477
Texas St. @ Montaaaannnaa: 19,489
Weber @ Cal-Poly: In-Progress

Not real impressive showing at any of the games, guess I have to rescind my attendance smack directed towards So Ill...or not.

35-28, Weber still leading Poly, just under 10 left in the 4th.

Short lived momentum for Poly, gave up a 57 yard kick-off return.

UNI plays New Hampshire next?
Yep
James Madison vs Villinova (that should be awesome)
Montana vs Weber State (payback for Weber for not getting a seed?)
App State vs Richmond (if App plays like they did on Saturday they will get blown out)
UNI vs New Hampshire.

Seems like the first round is always low. Thanksgiving weekend, no students. And rumors of schools undercounting for whatever reason.

I was wondering why they would do that? Wouldn't you want to spread the word that your school pulled in attendance no matter what weekend or round?

Sure does make sense undercount your attendace to make other schools less likely to bid the playoff games in the future.

or

They are accurate and year long announcements were all over rated?

When revenue sharing is involved with the NCAA and the visiting team, a school makes sure not to have inflated numbers.

[QUOTE=onbison09;234774]Montana vs Weber State (payback for Weber for not getting a seed?)[QUOTE]

Believe me... every Griz fan wanted to play Weber and not Cal in the next round. It's tough to beat a team like Poly twice in one season. Montana has revenge on their minds and hopes to make it a tough game for Weber.

A few years back we lost bad to Sam Houston down in Texas and met them again in the playoffs. We returned the favor and destroyed them. Like I said, it's tough to beat a team twice in one season... Weber has me worried, so thank God the game is in Missoula.

On another note, and ironically, this being your first year with playoff eligability must hurt a bit. Not seeing the Bison make the playoffs must sting because last years team, I believe, would have been playing App State for the NC.
