UNI 40
Maine 15

Anyone still think we wouldn't have given UNI a better run for their money?

The only problem with that is we couldn't play UNI in the first round because we are in the same conference with them. Yes Maine was the last team in but we probably would have been going to Montana if we had somehow made it in.

Face it Kool-aid drinkers, the 2008 Bison football team didn't have IT. Not enough talent overall, too many mistakes and some poor coaching decisions. The past season is done and over. Get used to it because next year will likely be worse.

Maine couldn't even compete. We can compete. Problem is you need to get in to compete.

NDSU couldn't compete against a 7-5 (could have been 6-6) 'rival' at home, in which a victory would have secured the slimmest, razor-thin, pie-in-the-sky hope for a playoff berth.
