2002: 10,620
2003: 11,567
2004: 13,269
2005: 14,160
2006: 16,377
2007: 18,141 (5 games)
2008: 18,032 (6 games)

The new record is for total season attendance: 108,193 (17500 or so more than last year). Hopefully, we smash that next year but, unfortunately, the best predictor of next year's attendance is this year's record, and 6-5 doesn't sell as many tickets as 10-1. We'll have to see about that though.

Can't figure out how NDSU is going to get 6 home games. So far, I think they still only have 4. Any word on how they will fill up? Are they going for 1 or 2 more games?

I can think of one way to get 7, 8, or even 9 home games :)

Any word on who #5 will be? Cupcake? Real team?

It needs to be a cupcake since we are going to Iowa State and to Sam Houston. But if the right home and home comes along I bet we will sign a contract with them.

I would think they are still trying to schedule the Georgia Southern game here. The other two are at Iowa State and Sam Houston State

Any word on Montana State as a possible home opponent?...I always get confused if they owe us one or not.

I'm not saying we need schedule top 25 teams for all of our OOC games, but here is a thought.

Playing horrible teams is one way to pad your win column, but playing the wrong type of cupcake doesn't do us any good. This year was a perfect example. We were world beaters after the first two weeks and then.........

If we are going to play a cupcake, I say we play the best of the cupcakes. Albany, Dayton, or San Diego. The bottom of the OVC, Pioneer, and NEC are a joke, and short of someone backing out and us needing a game on short notice, we shouldn't play them. As for Albany, Dayton and San Diego, they are the better teams in their conference. We'd still wax them, (we ought to anyway) but Dayton and Albany are a couple of teams that always seem be in the "Others receiving votes" category in the polls. It would be a more respectable win come playoff time when the committee is looking at everyones resume.

We are all second guessing the coaching staff and team this year, but maybe if we were tested a little bit harder in the beginning of the year, our problems might have been apparent a little earlier. What could have been done, I do not know. But for future seasons, I think this could help.

That's great Tony. Next project...'how to get the student body to buy into the program.'

It's a missing link for over-all program success.

"Our House....is a very very very fine house"....;)
