You won't believe the comments on their board. They really feel that since we have more national championships than they have conference championships, and we have gotten more recognition nationally, that "we think we're better than them."

I guess its not a huge surprise since they haven't won in Fargo in like 50 years, but they should be gracious. We wouldn't do that on our board it someone came here and did that and they shouldn't do it either.

The Jacks fans that have showed up on this board have been very gracious and classy in handling their victory. They had a whole generation of fans grow old never having seen their team win on the road in Fargo so I can see why they might be a little excited. We should take pride in the fact that we are such a big target for them. It's a big deal when they beat us, it's a bigger deal when they beat us in our house. It's something special for them that doesn't happen very often.

I admit to getting ticked off by reading several posts saying in essence "congrats Jacks BUT we lost because of (1) refs; (2) our quarterback; (3) our kicker; (4) our coaches; or (5) some combination of the foregoing". I think I'm over it (the 48-hour rule described by a Bison fan on another thread is pretty accurate).

A buddy of mine was at Cubbies (sports bar in Brookings) last night when members of the SDSU football team was in there. They were chanting...."F the Bison, F the Bison, F the Bison." It finally hit me. They won their superbowl. Their 5 loss season was a success. We look at our season as a joke. They are proud of breaking the streak of 50 years or whatever it was. We lost another close game. Both teams are sitting at home. Oh, and yes the refs cost us the game. If I am in the 5% of BIson fans that think that....so be it. I didn't trust my eyes until I watched the film. Yep, still bad calls. When you lose a game by one point, and the refs singlehandedly moved the football into scoring position on two drives.....it determined the game. Congrats that you have a kicker that can capitalize. We don't.

Congrats to the Jacks. They have a cute little fan base that will grow with big wins such as this. it is nice to beat a rival, but you should now strive for bigger goals. Good luck next year. It appears you have a strong team coming back. We have some questions to figure out.

Well, how many of our posters lurked over at SDSU's board after we kicked their butt two years in a row. Seems funny how dozens of their posters keep watching every thread here so they can pounce if NDSU fans say something they don't like. It is a Bison board here and I could care less if some SDSU fan doesn't like what we say on our board.
I think most of the bunny fans are quite obnoxious at this time so if a NDSU fan goes over to their board plan to kiss their feet or they will flog you. I really don't care......its SDSU, they have a bunny for a mascot and have to go to school in Brookings. Of the hundreds of SDSU alumni I have met in Sioux Falls over the past 15 years not one gives a crap about SDSU football. Sad but true!

Going on the the bunny board is stepping into the enemy camp. You have to be careful about what you say and how you say it .... if.... you intend on keeping the peace. If not, post away. However, i would expect nothing less but the same response from Bisonville posters if the situation was reversed. Defend your turf or rabbit hole.

In my opinion, I think there have been an equal number of posts about the refs and our inability to execute. Personally I think we should focus of the latter. We have our own issues. Since going D1, we are 2-3 against SDSU. Has any other team layed 3 losses on us in the modern D1 era? Can't blame the refs for all three of those losses.

I haven't seen any Jacks poster come on our board and try to start talking smack (other than in the appropriate forum). They just bitch about us placing so much emphasis on the refs for our loss. Personally, I agree with them.

I think someone should make a poll asking who is to blame for the loss: 1. The team; 2, the refs; 3, both; 4 Bohl; 5 Not sure, I was getting some in Vegas. Then we could see where this board stands.

Honestly I could care less about girl sports. It's not a knock on girl sports either because NDSU womens basketball have 5 National Championships but i just don't care. And I could care less about our D1 volleyball team which is in the NCAA tournament. Apparently they went undefeated or something.

I care about the big sports... mens football and basketball. We have just as many D1 football conference championships as you do. We're both pretty good actually.

Honestly I could care less about girl sports. It's not a knock on girl sports either because NDSU womens basketball have 5 National Championships but i just don't care. And I could care less about our D1 volleyball team which is in the NCAA tournament. Apparently they went undefeated or something.

I care about the big sports... mens football and basketball. We have just as many D1 football conference championships as you do. We're both pretty good actually.

That's pretty much the jist of it right there. It's one thing if you come on and have a good old fashioned smack thread but Gabe just posted it right there in the football section. Then he does absolutely no justice to 99% of the classy NDSU fans out there.

The thing that is the funniest to me is since I called him out a few posts ago my Rep Points have gone up by like 60 and several Bison fans have said, and I quote, "Gabe is a tool!" These are your peeps you dipshit! They think your a tool! Might be a great time to get back in the cave you crawled out of you neandrothal moron.
