There is still one game left. I have not forgotten. But in the meantime, I think that RunDMC34 posted a good thought. Who is next years poster boy, go to guy, fan favorite. The guy, like Walker or Mays or Roehl, who when you see some one wearing 11, 8, or 40, oyu know just who that fan supports.

Personally, I think that it should be 21. Scholty, all he does is catch tds and first downs.

I moved this out of Last game for these players. I think that post should be dedicated to the Seniors and the great run that we have had with them. Wont forget it for many years

Voigtlander, in my opinion, looks like the real deal. He's going to be special. Pat Paschall will likely be the workhorse...not sure.

Cyrus Lemon looks like he could be an impact player. He's a great tackler. Great cover. Great athlete. Good head. A gamer.

Gratzek (spelling?) could develop into a force on the D line. He may already be one. Could develop into one of the best defensive linemen in recent history.

No arguments with the others mentioned.

But the poster boy?

Voigtlander.

The 2009 team has nothing to be afraid of. If we have a confident quarterback...they have no limits. They will 'surprise' if QB gets solved.

I know hes a lineman but what about local boy Austin Richards?

Preston Evans. That and I'd guess we'll still see a bunch of 8's in the crowd which would than make D.J. McNorton a fan fav by default.

No smack or disrespect intended but Cyrus while a good athlete and good tackler...i am just not sold on his covering abilities yet. Also seems to be a little slower than the rest of the secondary

#2 Paschall. He will be explosive next year and carry the team. I expect big things from him for his senior year and to be the focal point of the offense.

I agree about Voigt. IMO, he is going to give PP a run for his money for the #1 RB next year. Going to miss Roehl next year.

The best chance for poster boy will be the quarterback. If Nick elevates his game to where it has to be , he will be the poster boy. If someone else surpasses him, earns the starting spot and produces, they will be the hands down poster boy. No one knows how this will play out. Everything else will revolve around this.

Had a different thought.

If Shamen comes back and is able to stay healthy, it would be great to have an offense that can start after a 20-40 yard return. Perhaps he will be the Veteran senior leader that we will need.

I think Beson is gonna be a stud, hard to say cuz he hasnt played but from what the coaches said about not wanting to redshirt him his first year means alot
