Never thought by years end we would have teams like holy cross and prairie view ranked ahead of the bison......wah!

I posted this in another thread but here it is again...
For us to make the playoffs, the following has to happen.

1) #24 NDSU beats SDSU
2) #19 William & Mary loses to #6 Richmond (decisive loss)
3) #17 Maine loses to #11 New Hampshire (decisive loss)
4) #14 Elon loses @ #20 Liberty (close Libety win, want respect but not too much)
5) #23 Furman loses @ #10 Wofford

Then we have to worry about the crappy OVC teams. I'm concerned they are giving them too much respect. Here are the OVC teams in the mix. Only 1 of them can get in for us to make the playoffs and that has to be as an auto bid.

#18 Tennesee Martin plays at unranked (#30 w/votes) Eastern Kentucky. If TM loses, they don't have enough wins to get in. Eastern Kentucky would get the auto bid.

#30 Eastern Kentucky. If they win, they get an auto bid playoff spot. If they lose, they won't get in at all.

#25 Tennesee State. @ Murray State. Win or lose, they probably won't make it but a loss will help NDSU's cause.

Jacksonville State. #24 sports network and #21 coaches poll. They are done for the year so they will probably drop a spot or 2. We can only hope that if NDSU wins and these other teams lose, we jump from 24-20 and Jacksonville State falls from #21-25.

Then we have to worry about Liberty. If they win and are ranked in the top 16 average in all the polls, they will likely get in.

Then we can only hope the pollsters recognize that the MVC is much better than the OVC. I can only find one common opponent and that is Austin Peay.

NDSU 41- Austin Peay 0. That was the score after 3 quarters. NDSU held them to under 100 yards of offense for the entire game.

Eastern Kentucky 13 - Austin Peay 10. OT! Austin Peay won every major statistical category.

Jacksonville State 35 - Austin Peay 22. The score was 28-22 after 3 quarters. JVSU gave up nearly 400 yards of offense.

Tennessee State 37 - Austin Peay 34. 34-27 TS after 3 quarters. Austin Peay put up 340 yards of offense.

Can you see these scenerio's going our way?
The most unlikely scenerio is for Liberty to beat Elon. Even though it's at Liberty it's going to be tough. I think Liberty is way overrated. The other games are very likely to go in NDSU's favor.

It's a joke because we beat those teams by 40 on the road. Heck we dont even have to throw a pass to win.

Agreed, it is a joke

Like the Missouri State coach said, there is an eastern bias. They want their first round games to be against easy teams out of the OVC, not teams like NDSU who can acutally win.
