This is interesting. ORU's RPI is at 93, while NDSU's is at 95. They must play a tougher non-league schedule or win against better competition.

Virtually no chance. As posted earlier, NDSU's RPI is currently 95. Considering only 64 teams make the tourney, I can't believe NDSU would be considered as an at large selection.

last year the jacks had a #16 seed and had to play NE at NE! the bison may be in the same situation, i think that the NCAA only ranks 16 and then geographically seeds the rest, past years have always been tough on the summit league AQ

I think the tourney is set up like soccer. The 64-team field is divided into 16, four-team sub-regionals. Each sub-regional gets one of the 16 seeded teams. Each sub-regional is held at one of the fours' home court; probably determined by a bidding process. The 16 sub-regional winners meet in four regionals: Washington, Colorado State, Penn State, & Texas. The four winners meet at the Qwest Center in Omaha for the finals.
