Sioux did not have to win to help our playoff changes, just them playing SIU period fit the bill.

Did you know that if it came down to NDSU or SIU this year for a playoff game, and even thought SIU might have a better record. The playoff game would go to NDSU because SIU played a non counter for a game.

So if NDSU sent 7 - 4, and SIU was 8-3 NDSU would get in before them because of the head to head victory, and the SIU playing the non counter.

This info came from a very solid source.
Now the chances of NDSU getting in with 4 loses is very slim regardless.
