Thinking about the UMary game. Never been to one. Wouldn't hurt to bring a radio for the Bison game, too. Might be fun.

I'll be there with a few other guys. Just a guess that Road will be there as well.

I was planning on making the trip, but now I have a houseful of people to entertain all weekend so I'll probably be somewhere downtown playing Chicago tourist instead :banghead:

I hate being a tourist.:D
Which reminds me of a story. About 6 years ago I think we were out by Pierre SD on a wallye fishing trip when we had some troll motor problems. We took it to the shop and he said he could have it done the next day but it would be late. So we decided since it would be hard to troll with a 200 HP engine that we would do the tourist thing .
We took off and hit the Bad Lands, The Crazy Horse thing, Custer National Park, Devils Tower, panned for gold in Deadwood and saw MT Rushmore in a day.
If youre going to be a tourist---just getter done!!!! and be over with it.:D

I would love to go, but I am just now returning to WYO after a few days in the Twin Cities. If i went this weekend Ithink that an arctic cold front would move into my bedroom....BRRRRR!

Getting used to the couch a little bit right now just might toughen you up a pinch - just in time for hunting season.:hide:

I'm sure LakesDouchBag will be there right? I mean the self proclaimed number one fan wouldn't bail out when the going got a little tough would he?

Serious question - what is your problem with lakes??? Once in a while, things will slip out - big deal. With you, it's constant. If he annoys you so much that you feel the need to call him names, just add him to your ignore list.

Even still - if you absolutely HAVE to criticize, please limit your comments to the offending behavior. Hate the game, not the player.

My brother is driving down from the Rockford, IL area. I know he's happy that NDSU is in the MVC, with UNI, IN St. and the 3 IL schools an easy drive for him.

I heard around 500 Bison fans. And former Bison Ken Muchenhirn 1983-87 was there.

The announcers for the game on the local radio station in Normal said that NO OTHER OPPONENT has ever brought that many fans into Hancock stadium! WTF, doesn't any of the Missouri Valley fans leave their towns?

I say once NDSU can recruit true DI QB's and kickers they ned to move to FBS. NDSU travels like a mid level FBS team.

Or probably travels like a upper half fbs team...

There were several groups of Illinois State fans? that never made it into the stadium on saturday. Their tailgating is spread over several small parking lots and one of them was just east of the stadium. I was in the top row of the east stands and with 56 seconds left in the first half, a guy in a group of about 10 yelled up and asked me what quarter it was.

With the score 25-7 and the last seconds ticking off the clock, this group somehow managed to get into their vehicles and steer them out of the lot without hitting anything. Whether they made it home is unknown.
