Just curious on what everyone thinks will be an estimated number of bison fans getting loud in the UNI Dome...

I am guessing 4-5k...if we could bring around 4,000 to Wyoming should be around the same?

thats what i heard, seemed to be quite a bit, I think we'll have more then 500 at UNI who knows.

just have a blast and bring back a W

1,000 Bison fans will be at the UNI dome, this is a fairly easy trip for the Bison faithful.

By looking at everyone that says they're going, we should have a good 1.5-2 sections of Bison fans, so I say we get 1500-1600.

you are confusing correlation with causation.

bisonaccountant is anal retentive, thus his interest in precision in both financial matters and attendance counts.

I agree that NDSU will travel well. Good article (other than the comment from the Panther fan who seems to think that our colors include puke green).

However, I sure do see a lot of UNI tickets for sale here. Not pointing any fingers, but 3-3 have anything to do with that? If we were 5-1 or 6-0...? I wonder.

I would hope that we will have between 1500-2000 fans there on Saturday. More than that would be great. I don't know if that is realistic, though.

Oh, and I agree with Road, there weren't 4,000 fans at Wyoming either. Maybe 2000-2500 actual Bison fans. If there were 4000, then that would be over 1 in 5 and that wasn't the ratio I observed.

That definitely crossed my mind, too!!!

I'll be there this Saturday for the first playoff game. My original game plan has me going to Normal the following Saturday for the ISU game, too. However, that will be contingent on the outcome of the UNI game. Any game we play the rest of the year AFTER another loss will be little more than an exhibition.

Bottom line, I hope we are beginning a long, happy journey to the actual playoffs in Cedar Falls. One game at a time, guys.

1500... There's a ton of MPLS fans that are coming, I know about 10 that just signed up.

6 new people bought my tickets.. gonna be a PARTAYYYYY!!!

I left the first to bison games to PARTY IN THE PARKING LOT, cuz we schedule cupcakes... (which by the way, came back to bite us perhaps a bit)

Nope, 6 tickets front row $26 each..

Lakes do me a favor??? Get the people in Section R and other bison sections going....Lets show UNI how we travel and how loud we can be...

example...how we brought fans to the 2nd U of M game and made it our home!!! Lets do the same here!

Way to represent....I was very impressed with the # of NDSU fans that were there.....and for the most part they were all respectable.

On the UNI pregame they estimated the Bison as 3,000 strong...
however many...by far the strongest visitor crowd I can recall!!
It was impressive to watch group after group of Bison march by this afternoon. Not sorry your day ended in sadness but look forward to many battles in the future.

thanks man, it was fun to be there and represent. you guys handed us our lunch today, but hopefully over the years this can develop into a great rivalry! see you next year at the Fargodome - you'll enjoy the tailgating lot!

We tailgate much better than UNI. I did not see one UNI bus or any great rigs like NDSU has. There were a lot of folks tailgating, but it was not the huge party that NDSU is.
