Ok whos going to UNI! I'm so STOKED to be going on my first real Bison Road Trip!!!! Where are you tickets? I think I'm in section S cause R was sold out full of Bison fans. Where are you tailgating? Lets show them what REAL Bison football is all about!!! Hey can we bring in flags?

In. 6 guy, leaving Friday. Section R. Bringing plasma/trailer. Wearing Bison gear in their bars on Friday night, dominating them Saturday afternoon. Road games are way more fun. Road fans get nuts.

I'll be there. Not sure off hand what section. Could be a long day for the Bison. Can't remember the last time I felt so little confidence in the Bison, but should I have any reason to not feel this way ? Boy did we get spoiled with those seniors we lost last year. Go Bison !!!

My wife and I are going. I was hoping when we purchased our tickets this would be for the conference championship!!j

But someone how me manged t lose two conference games we should have easily won.

I'm bought 20 tix with all 20 filled in Section R, plus some of my other buddies will be there.

Look for my 'runtheoption' van in lot B or C next weekend. They have an unenforced "lots open" time of 4 hours pre-kickoff, so I hope to be set up and partying by 11:00.

If you like GREAT pizza go to Paligias. Its on Bloomington. Not far from downtown.
As far as bars go there are a ton of them down town. The owner of the Airliner is an former Michigan State player. Really nice guy. He lives in Michigan and flys in every weekend when there is a home game. Really nice guy. PL

Oh faith has nothing to do with it. LOL Just that Ive been to 3 Bison games 1 Iowa game and 1 Packer game so far. I need to replenish my gas money.:D
The good thing---UNI is only a 9 hour drive instead of 13 to Fargo.

damn class field trip is making me really mad right now, wish I didn't have to get rid of the tickets for the game :(

Last night I just got the opportunity to go to the game and crash at an in-law's place, BUT, we've already made plans with some out-of-town friends coming back up to Fargo and watching the game on the big screen. :nod:

Lord knows the Bison need all the screaming fans they can get. Cheer extra loud for all of us who can't make it!

If you are going to party in Cedar Rapids you may as well go to Iowa City. Plus Cedar Rapids is a bit of a drive to Cedar Falls. :D PL

While I can't make UNI this weekend (I am sure your all heart broken :D), I can tell you that McNorton won't be the only #8 in the house. Well, NOW #51, but #8 in our hearts. He just bought the tickets the other day. Maybe Bohl can bring him in for a pregame speech. I am sure he has a few things he'd like to share with the team. Have fun guys! AND GO BISON!!!!!! ;)

Four in our group. I fly into Des Moines on Friday night and we will drive over Saturday morning for some tailgating and the game and then I fly back to Fl Sunday.

For those staying in Waterloo there is a perfect bar for your fans making the trip. It's called "Kings and Queens" and it's right by the Ramada Inn.;)

We're staying at the Waterloo Ramada (only $70/night!!). I'll be sure to guide our group away from that bar. Either that or I'll go in and do my best Big Gay Al.

Welcome all Bison fans to Cedar Falls and the UNIDOME. I hope all who are coming Saturday have a safe trip and enjoy your stay in the Cedar Valley. Runtheoption, please post here after your trip and give your opinion on the Waterloo Ramada. I've never stayed there, but I've hear pros and cons on it's condition and service. I guess it all depends on how high your standards are.

Is the American Inn the one in Cedar Falls? If so, I'd go with that....not too far from UNI's campus. Downtown Waterloo isn't the ideal place to stay....but you would be close to Kings and Queens.:D

I'm in Section Q which is right next to the visitor's section R....have a great trip to the best Dome in the Valley!!:nod:

Brand new hotel/casino that is very nice. Flat screens in every room. It's a decent drive from the Dome, probably 15 minutes.

I had to cancel my travel plans. So as of just a couple minutes ago there should be two rooms now available at the Country Inn in Cedar Falls.

I also have 4 tickets that I'm looking to get pass on, Section R Row 14 seats 9-12. I'm willing to discount the price.

The highlight of the game was when I noticed a couple of old dudes cheering for UNI had left the visitors' section after grumbling every time people stood up. It's not like there weren't plenty of empty seats in the other corners of the stadium.

Shame you didn't come on a better weekend when it was more eventful. Us students generally go home the weekend after Homecoming. But, I'm sure you saw enough to see Cedar Falls has a pretty wicked nightlife for a town of 35,000.

Ice Lounge. WOW. Was that a great night. Just three guys and one wife, and we had an absolute blast...oh and Lakes was there to. He is like a fly. You know he is there, but you really never see him. The talent at that place was impressive. The town has NO passion for UNI. It was fun to travel with NDSU pride.

I say that Cedar Falls had good support for the Pathers kinda like Fargo however we have that hockey school to the north, cause all there alumi have to get jobs here.

Oh, believe me, we know what that is like. Try having to deal with a Big 10 school that thinks they are on the verge of a national title every year and a delusional Big 12 that thinks it can make it to a bowl game every year.

On the plus side, we get to sit up north and watch Ames crumble after devastating loses to Nebraska and BAYLOR while Iowa gets bitch slapped by the likes of Northwestern, Pittsburgh, and Western Michigan.
