Don't understand it. Is this the games played so far or for the entire season? SDSU is 2 spots below NDSU and they have played Iowa State, WIU, UNI, and McNeese...all ranked teams but they went 1-4 against them. They also beat Youngstown at home.

We've haven't played anyone outside of SIU although Youngstown is a pretty good team at home and we were really close to beating Wyoming. But those losses look worse by the day.

The WIU game will tell us a lot about this team as will Northern Iowa.

Gabe, this is only based on results as of today.

That said, I think the GPI is meaningless for us, we control our own destiny as long as we go 9-2 or 8-3. Basically every game is crucial from here on out.

It's an OK spot to be in. Expectations are down, and we can continue to improve each week. We now have a statement to make.

Christmas comes early.

If we take care of business we will be fine... I think 8-3 gets us in since one of those losses is against an FBS team. I'm surprised the two polls are such a small part of the GPI, since we are #6 and #11 there and #21 here.
