Our Bisonville reporter Erin Andrews....err....B1SON is live at Soldier Field and wanted me to report the thrill of a lifetime tonight. Chicago boy Joe Mays will put on an NFL jersey and suit up for the Philly Eagles tonight. I am getting chills for that kid. There is not a better guy out there. A true BISON. He continues to make us proud. Not sure if he will be doing any special teams, but I won't miss a play. Go Eagles!!!!

Has he played at all this year? As much as he played in the pre-season I would have thought he'd get in at least in a reserve roal.

GREAT LIVE BLOG FROM CHICAGO...

http://mvn.com/nfl-eagles/2008/09/28/live-blog-eagles-visit-windy-city-for-matchup-with-bears/

YOU CAN ASK LIVE QUESTIONS

I ASKED IF JOE MAYS WILL PLAY.

AlexWhiteleather: Mays was one of the stars on the Eagles pre-season. Very bright future but just not ready to crack the starting lineup. Very solid special teams player for now.

AlexWhiteleather: You have much to be proud of up at NDSU. Mays may have been the defensive MVP of training camp/pre-season

:15 AlexWhiteleather: I'm not sure on what Mays is playing. Kickoff most likely for sure. . .I doubt punt units

He got his tickets through the Eagles, so I am guessing he has some fresh seats. What a great atmosphere. Sunday Night Football in Chicago.

Bears: Create turnovers and take advantage
Vikings: Self destruct

B1SON has reported that he was at one point on the 50 yard line holding his helmet. What a thrill to play at Soldier Field. I am guessing he always hoped to play on that field growing up in Chicago.

Just saw him give the side bump to Gaither after his fumble recovery on the sideline.

Good sideline shot of him after Bradley's fumble recovery.

He must be the go to congratulations guy.

"At 246 pounds of power, it’s hard to imagine something seeming big to Joe Mays. But that’s exactly how it felt when he signed his NFL contract.
The former North Dakota State linebacker closed a four-year deal worth reportedly about $2.6 million last week with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Neither he nor his agent, Dave Butz, would disclose the details, but Mays is slated to earn $295,000 in base salary this year, $385,000 in 2009, $470,000 in 2010 and $555,000 in 2011 provided he makes the team every year"
