Do we have any estimates to the number of Bison fans who will be making the trip from Fargo to Laramie?

I was looking at the stadium and each section holds about 1,000 people and Bison fans have been buying up tickets in sections A-AA-B-BB-C-CC.

Not sure on estimates. Swag picked up 4 tickets for us on the 50 yard line so I am hoping there are some Bison fans near us.

We have a group of 3 going and we are in section B. It looks like there are about 275 registered for the alumni association pre-game party.

My guess is there will be at least 500 Bison fans at the Wyoming game and I would be very surprised if it approached 1000.

We are in FF, which is about the 40 in the upper deck. I saw everyone else buying tickets in the lower deck corner section and that didn't really appeal to me. I'm ok with being surrounded by 'boys fans as long as we're kickin' butt. Anyone else in the sections below the press box ?

I am going to say 1200 to 1500. I think we will be surprised. Alot of Bison fans scattered throughout the midwest and rocky mountain areas will be showing up.

Whatever the total is there will be more NDSU fans tailgating in Laramie than there were Coyote fans in Vermillion for USD's first so called DI football game. Got to love that tailgate video......I have seen bigger tailgating for high school games. LMFAO......did everything I could to keep the pepsi from escaping through the nasal cavity........

There was a caller on Bison Feedback last night that said this would be his first Bison road game.

We have 4 coming from W. NoDak. For us it is just like driving to gopherville (about 500mi) Fargo is 380 so no big deal. Sec A row 21. Driving as far as Wheatland WY Fri. night. Make it in time to hit the NDSU pregame party. I'd say around a 1000 or so will make it.

There was another thread, which I can't find, in which someone posted the average attendance for CowPoke games (in 23 to 24,000 range) and asked the question how many NDSU fans would be there. Someone, I don't remember who, estimated that if there was a total of 20,000 fans in the stands for the NDSU/WY game there were would be no more than 10-15% Bison fans (for those math challenged, that means 2-3000). That poster was crucified as I recall, for thinking so few of us would show up.

Now most of you are estimating only 500-1500 fans (Lakes excluded). Where are the crucifiers?

Thanks Oldbison.

I should (excluded) more often, even though I am right more often..

I think we'll be pleasantly surprised. There's a good alumni presence in Denver, which is pretty damn close.

Alls I know is that section B will be rocking.

WILL YOU BE THERE?

This is uneducated, but I bet there will be between 3-4000 bison fans there.

Does anybody know what the NDSU ticket allotment was and how many they sold? I know a lot of the folks that post here did not buy tickets through NDSU (including myself).

I have four Bison fans coming - including my 4 year old son that will be going to his first game. We are also joining 3 UND grads from Denver as well 4 Wyo grads from Denver.

Since I need to fly to any games that I go to, this will likely be the only game I attend until the playoffs. (I've already prepared my with for some trips away in late November / early December...)

Wyoming is estimating around 18,000 for the game. Kind of low but morale is not exactly at an all time high.

My buddy used to live in why and has been to several games there, and he said no one really sits in their seats, u can move around to better ones that are open, so i wouldnt worry about buying lower level tickets, just come on down!!!
