Conference mate Missouri State is down 35-24 to Washburn DII with 13 to go in the 4th!!!!! WOW not good:banghead:

well, looks like there is two whipping boys in the conference now. Good thing only one of them visits the dome this year.

Its done Final Washburn wins WOW NDSU with the only win in the MVFC so far, this better turn around for the conference, which it should first games are always hard!:(

I thought there were people saying that Missouri State was going to be an improved team this year? This really makes me wonder about that.

The class of the MIAA is usually Pitt State and NW Missouri State. This year Nebraska Omaha is a new member. I don't remember Washburn being much of a factor.

It's somewhat interesting to keep an eye on two of the head coach finalists for NDSU in Terry Allen with Missouri State and Dennis Wagner with Western Carolina. I'm glad we got Bohl.

Washburn has managed to reach into the upper tier of MIAA. 2006 they were 7-4 and last year they were 8-4 with a win over Pitt State and a 1 point loss to NW MO. However, this is still a DII conference and with a name like the Ichabods, no FCS team should lose them.
