A lousy start for the rebuilding Summit League champs. Can't wait for conference play to start in just under two weeks.

It will be tough for the Jacks this year... ORU will be the cream of the crop this year, for sure.

We were at the WIU match, really exciting and a big win after the westwinds made a big run at us winning games 3 n 4. I smell NCAA playoffs!! Great job gals, keep up the hard work, our family was really impressed with your play.

PS- tell the concessions mgr. to have more hotdogs next time please. They ran out due to the big rush from the football game.

Are we sure it was the big rush, because they were out 10 minutes before the game when only half the people had even made it into the building yet :(

I ate two hotdogs at the volleyball game on Friday night and B1SON and his son had a couple. Must have depleted their inventory.

NDSU's win and SDSU's loss tonight clinches the Bison's berth for the Summit League tourney. It's all for the seed, now. Congrats ladies.

Too lazy to look but ORU lost tonight.

Much of the seeding and the last teams into the tournament are going to come down to the final weekend. I'm not sure of the tie breaking procedures(help, Blue), so I don't know if IPFW has clinched their spot. SDSU is still well in the mix after a slow start to the season, but they need a bit of help.

ipfw is definitely in the tourney and should get the 3rd seed (NDSU #1, ORU #2); the final spot is a battle and will go down to the last match; if SDSU goes 2-0, WIU goes 2-0, and IUPUI goes 0-2, there is a 3 way tie (in which IUPUI will win); that scenario can happen, but not likely (IUPUI should go 1-1, in which they will have 9 wins and SDSU and WIU will only have 8 (if WIU can go 2-0 which could be unlikely with a match at IPFW); it is interesting that the only team that really challenges NDSU is not going to be in the tourney bc that would be a great #1v#4 match (NDSU v WIU)

Some of my confusion came from bad numbers from the Summit website. The records have now been corrected. Everything should be locked in by Friday night. A 14-0 Bison squad will take on an 0-14 Centenary squad to secure the #1 seed.

Congratulation to the Bison Women Vball team, coaches, parents, student mgrs. & etc. What a fantastic season, keep it rolling now, I hope we can get there to watch some playoff games!!

NDSU and ORU lock up the #1 and #2 seeds, respectively. IPFW & IUPUI are both in the tournament but seeding won't be determined until tomorrow night. If IUPUI wins AND IPFW loses, the Bison will face IPFW. Otherwise(and most likely), they will play IUPUI in the first round.

bump until the Bison lose or win it all
