Well, Sagarin says we'll be 9-2 with close losses at Wyoming(-3.15pts) and UNI(-2.54pts). He gives us close wins at YSU(+2.29pts), vs SIU(+5.02), and at ILSU(+7.44). MSU, WIU & SDSU are around 2 TD games, and the remainder are 35+ point blowouts. It should be interesting to see how reality matches up with his computer.

BTW, the top 10 FCS teams in Sagarin are:
70 App St
77 Mass
83 NDSU
84 UNI
87 JMU
89 SIU
91 Montana
97 UNH
99 Delaware
100 Richmond

Looking at where today's Bison would fit in DI-A..........
NDSU's 83 ranking would be last place in the following DI-A conferences:
Atlantic Coast
Big East
Big Ten
Big 12
Pac 10
Southeastern

An 83 ranking would be better than the following rough percentage of teams in other DI-A conferences:
30% of Mountain West
60% of Conference USA
70% of Western Athletic
90% of Sun Belt
100% of Mid American

Doesn't his website say that anything +/- 3 or something like that mean that it is a toss up?? I thought I remember reading that last year.

Some interesting stats:

Gophers at home by 20 over Bison? Highly unlikely.

If UND plays TT this year: TT by 117. Could happen if TT leaves their starters in for the whole game.

They go by the predictor (far right column) not rank, so the goophs would be a 5 point fav at home since I believe they add 2 points for home field and TT would be a 29 point fav on the sue,
Also, as of now, Wyoming would be a 3 point fav on us

Sagarin says NDSU 66.79 - Austin Peay 26.67 = 40.12 + 2.87 for home field =
42.99 point blow out.
I have a hard time believing AP is that bad.

You're right, don't know what I was thinking.:banghead: I was looking at the far right predictor column, but I got mesmerized by the ranking right next to the predictor number.:hide:

Last year, the 1-11 Gophs were ranked around 35 for the preseason while we were ranked like 85. By the end of the year, I think we were 50 points above the Gophs so I don't the preseason rankings mean a whole lot.
