great gets... i must admit.. the top 5 in the minnesota class are legit SEC, big 12 or big 10 girls.... next 5 are up there as well.. so that 10-15 range makes NDSU's class look dead scary!!

Taylor Hill is top 3 recruit in the country & best girls bball player in minnesota history and Brittany Chambers is probably the best female athlete in Minnesota History (bball and vball all state since a freshman I think)

Great job getting Linz. A tremendous shooter from well beyond the three point line. She can stretch any defense.

In addition to her basketball acumen, Hannah has been getting it done on the volley ball court as well:

Linz earns CMC player of the week honors

Hannah Linz is known more for being a Division I women's basketball recruit, but the Eden Valley-Watkins senior is also a well-regarded volleyball player.

She was named Central Minnesota Conference Female Player of the Week Friday.

She has anchored the recent strong Eagles run, as they have won four of their past five matches.

Linz has made 73 kills, 47 set assists, 17 digs and served nine aces.

•Eden Valley-Watkins 63, Ada-Borup 43: Hannah Linz scored 40 points as the No. 7 team in 1A beat the top-ranked and defending 1A state champion. Nicole Smart led Ada-Borup with 20.

I don't think Eden-Valley is 1A is it? Are they AA. Anyway...solid game by Hannah.

Cool, the Star Tribune (see link to full article below) wrote that:

The biggest surprise at the Tipoff Classic might have been Eden Valley-Watkins' 63-43 victory over Ada-Borup. Eden Valley-Watkins is No. 7 in the 1A rankings, and Ada-Borup is No. 1. The Cougars also are the defending state champions and have three starters back from that team.

Kinda cool that Hannah, with her 40 points, almost outscored Ada-Borup single-handedly.

Whats the title of the thread???????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????

Hannah Linz, the subject of this thread, outproduced Nicole Smart scoring 40 points (vs. 20 points) in a head to head competition between their respective teams. Hannah will join the Bison. Nicole will head up north. The referenced posts made this point in a simple, positive, factual, and comparitive manner. The statement that seems to be confusing to some of the Bisonville faithful supported the previous posts and the thread.

Hannah shares the secret of her shooting success. Hannah set a Minnesota prep single season record for three point shots made last season with 112.

Wow....pretty shocking story:

---DASSEL — Eden Valley-Watkins star Hannah Linz was limited to three points as Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted pulled off a 51-31 upset win over the Eagles in the Section 5 2-A North girls basketball championship game Wednesday.

The Lakers employed a diamond-and-1 defense on Linz. All of Linz's points came from the free-throw line. The Lakers led 25-11 at halftime.---

Tough break for Hannah and EV-W.
