Because its offseason and the other option might be to actually work or do homework :p (at least that would be my answer, don't know about d3boys)

Hate the team, like the QB as long as he's not a fudgepacker. They should at least open the competition up for starting QB, shouldn't they always field the best team possible instead of having the better of the two QB's on the bench. If they don't want him then just release him. If he's washed up, what are they scared of?

I don't know, but the press sure has something to talk about!!

I'm not as in tune with the Packers team as I used to be so if the Packers would trade Favre, what other kind of player would they need to boost their team?

That has to some of the easiest 20 some million that a guy could make.

Here let us give you a chunk of money so you don't play and stay retired. What a precedent that would set. If a guy can get it though more power to him and I hope he laughs at them all the way to the bank.
