If it was just Swag and I going this would be a great deal but with the kids going as well it is much cheaper to drive ourselves.

Can't wait til the kids are older and we can leave them home alone for the whole weekend.

I estimate gas will be about $250 (give or take) since there are 4 of us in the family it is cheaper for us to drive. If I could talk the hubby into leaving the kids with the in-laws that would be a different story

There has been questions if the bus would come home on Saturday. The consenses is we would stay down there to celebrate the victory.

Well the bus could come back, but the driver would get awfully bored by himself.:D

Wyoming or Bust!

A few seats are still available, price went to $120 due to fuel prices. We will be leaving Bismarck Friday morning and returing Sunday. There will be open seats for the "indulgent sleepers".

We have a block of game tickets reserved for $20 a seat. There are still tickets available in the stadium also.

There are hotels in Laramie still open.

GO BISON!!!

Your yellow looks awfully close to our "Game Day Gold." Your alternate color would be much better... ;) Also the video was from the Virginia game of last year when we sold out the "War" with 32k+ tickets. You can imagine what half would look like. The stadium has had some slight upgrades with video and sound. I am still wondering where over a 100 million went... :(

I would also like to remind all of the Bison fans that Laramie weather sucks! Be prepared for snow, rain, hot and cold and constant heavy gusts of wind. The weather forecasts aren't always that accurate just because of the elevation and the basin between the two mtn. ranges. Sunscreen is a must for this elevation regardless of the season. Sun burns are never pleasant. Safe travels to you guys! :D

Sounds awfully similar to our weather here in North Dakota. But our weather is bad here because Montana blows and Minnesota sucks....

Where is the bus leaving from in Bismarck? Are there any fans following the bus in their own cars/trucks?

It is leaving at 9 a.m. from the KMART parking lot just north of I-94 and east of Highway 83 in Bismarck. Haven't heard of any vehicles planning on following and don't suspect any will based on the speed the bus will likely be traveling. The bus will also make pit stops in Dickinson, Belfied, Bowman, and Gillette to pick up additional fans.

Sorry Lakes, no detour through Deadwood. If you have the urge to gamble, I'm sure we can accomodate you with either a game of poker or pinnochle. Don't worry, I don't cheat that much...just enough to win.:D

Two more hours left of the work week. Then get the car ready for the road trip. Heading out sometime early Friday morning (how early depends on when I want to get up) Kids can sleep in the car but Swag better stay awake with me :p

See everyone on Saturday (or Friday night if we get out an about in Laramie)

After a rocky start to the day on Friday we got to Laramie about 8:30 local time. We got started from home just west of Fargo about 6:30 am central time and were making great time. Until we hit a dear about 20 miles west of Bismark (west of New Salem) Damn dear was bound and determined to commit suicide fortunately I was able to avoid a head on collision with the stupid spike buck. This put us about an hour behind schedule. Was sure happy to finally get to the Motel last night.
