I am in Lincoln, NE this morning and there is a good article on Craig Bohl front page in the Lincoln Journal Star. I have not finished reading it yet, but thought I would get this posted. Since I am on my cell phone maybe someone can find the link for the online article and post it here.

Coach Bohl seems to fit very well with the Bison program. We should feel very fortunate to have him leading the young men onto the battlefield. I hope that he feels very comfortable and at home here. Will he be here as long as he's a FB coach? Who knows. Maybe he gets a title and moves on. Maybe he stays here and becomes the most celebrated coach in Bison history. Let's yell our asses off this fall and help create a 'big time' fb atmosphere that he can't live without and make it that much harder for him to leave,... I guess that's all we can do. I'm not going to worry about some 'bigger' school coming along and snatching him up. If it happens, it happens. But, I hope he stays as long as he can!! Give them hell, Bohl and co.!!!

I think you are on the wrong track, from what I have heard many times it is not Nebraska's decision when the teams will play. It is Coach Bohls decision.

I have heard several times that the offer has been open.

ya that was an awesome article i think its safe to say theres not a writer in fargo moorhead even close to capable of producing an article of that caliber which is pretty pathetic the program deserves to have a sports writer of that caliber covering the football team

Yeah...Coldpak & Mcfellin couldn't write this kind of thing. I keep saying that the media doesn't match up to the program. Glad to see someone else agrees.

If we did that we would have only four home games that season. As it is now the best we can hope for is 5 since we play Iowa State and Sam Houston at their house. We already have 10 games and have only one slot open and you want to go on the road again against another B12 opponent? I don't think so.

Relax. My point is that we should play them and play them as soon as possible. I didn't actually even look at the existing schedule.

Yeah all the BS about they want a noisy crowd, but only if the fans keep seated most of the time. What a crock of crap. I think Bohl would love to have a section on the other end of the field that was like the student section, but with all the PC bullcrap Gene and the dome nazis have put an end to that.
BisonSig you are a gentleman and a great Bison fan. Too bad some rent a dicks and poor judgement on Genes part got in the way.
