"hello hello hello?" this is ESPN BRACKETOLOGY! at some point during the season NDSU will be on it, so we might as well keep it at the TOP of DISCUSSION!

I think Oakland should be the favorite right now, pretty much everybody back and a stellar recruiting class. Since George Hill left, IUPUI is 2nd and ORU 3rd then I would put us 4th as of right now.

IUPUI losing Hill is like the Cavs losing LeBron, no way they should be above 4th in the league. ORU also lost 3 of their top 4 scorers, that includes their big Center Shawn King and they also lost defensive specialist Yemi Ogunoye(the guy who shut down Woody in Tulsa). Oakland is a good a choice at #1 but I think NDSU is at least #2, the team returns 4 four year starters and brings in what could be two impact players.

Well, we are built to win this year. I don't want to raise expectations too high but I would be disappointed if the team finished 4th. That said, I am really looking forward to playing Oakand and ORU. I think we kind of mirror OU in a lot of ways and Sutton has built ORU into a perennial contender, they might be a bit weaker this year but they'll be plenty capable of surprising.

By the end of the season, the top 3 will be NDSU, Oakland, and Oral Roberts in no particular order.

I think NDSU is easily top 2. IUPUI without GH is out, and ORU has more questions than a game of Clue but will still be very tough and contend in the top 3 of the conference. Between NDSU and Oakland it is probably a toss up, and may come down to a game or two. NDSU returns the entire team, whereas Oakland returns "most" of their team. Those who saw the two Oakland games this past season easily know they could have both gone the other way. The recruiting class Oakland had this year probably will not play into this season at all unless they have injuries.
