Craaap. He's too good of a talent for some team not to pick up. He's a big Bears fan right? And by the looks of their offense they are going to need at least 2 quality punters on their squad this year.

This is the first quote after that article.....

I guess his rendition of Olivia Newton John's "Let's Get Physical" at last night's Larryoke event didn't go over so well.

Pretty funny. He will hook on somewhere else.

Drago, Give the Vikes a shot. They will be in town Tuesday.

Vikings Community Tour

Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf and defensive end Jared Allen will visit Moorhead, Minnesota, on Tuesday, June 10, as part of the Vikings “You Made The Team” Community Tour.

The You Made The Team Community Tour was implemented in 2007 and is designed to connect with fans, community partners and local leaders while providing an update on the excitement of Vikings football.

Open to the Public. FREE Admission.

Wilf and Allen will make their first stop at 3:45 to 4:45pm at Coach Rick Eidsness’ Spud Youth Football Camp (Moorhead High School – 2300 4th Avenue South), where Wilf will discuss the team’s passion for giving back to the community while Allen will stress the importance of participating in youth athletics and staying physically active. The team will also present a $1,000 contribution to the Spud Boosters Club.

Following the appearance at Moorhead High School, team personnel, along with members of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, will help kickoff the Annual Moorhead RiverArts summer celebration at Davy Memorial Park (210 8th Street North) from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

In conjunction with the already planned events for the evening, the Vikings will provide themed games for the children and Wilf and Allen will sit down at 5:30 p.m. for a live Q&A session with KFGO’s Dan Hammer.

Allen will also sign autographs for 20 minutes before the Vikings depart.

So do you think Drago will still be listed in Madden 09 as a free agent?

Sounds like he was a victim of the changed roster limit. I hope he can catch on somewhere. We need Mel Kiper to run a football team and then Drago would have a roster spot.

That's the life of a punter (and kicker) after college. Alexis Serna from Oregon State was a very good place kicker and I don't think he's even been offered a contract yet.

Drago looked "happy" at Rib-fest last night, I guess I was too...

Team no longer get roster exemption for NFL europe players(They folded) So training camp rosters are now smaller.

Seeing the info on Dahl today had me wondering if there was any news on Drago. Found this on the PatsFan site. Nice to know that he hasn't been forgotten.

"Special Teams--3-(3) Chris Hansen, Lonie Paxton, Steve Gostkowski (None) This one is quite simple, Paxton with the long snaps to either a holder for Gostkowski to kick or directly to Hansen to punt. I do wonder if Dragosavich might make a late in camp appearance or that some other player might swoop in. Last year, there were three to start and it was Hansen who came in from out of the blue, with the other three disappearing."
