The Spokane Chiefs won the Memorial Cup on Sunday. The Memorial Cup is given to the champion Canadian Junior Hockey team. (don't know why Spokane was in it :confused: ) So pretty big deal. Well, during the trophey presentation it breaks. It was just a replica but still pretty embarassing. (the real one's in the hockey hall of fame) It raises a couple questions: did they put the trophey together with elmers? and what would you do in a situation like that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-csq2N6jkIA

Saw that - lolled all over the floor the first time. Personal favorite part was when they said aww shucks and just started passing the pieces around.

Personally, I'd seriously entertain the idea of letting the fans carry it, too - especially if they use replica crap like that.

That's the way it looked to me. Cup in left hand / Base in right. It split in the middle and the base hit the ice. He was still holding the cup after it fell.

Either way, no problem...
