High School Seniors Choosing NDSU

I just talked to a friend of mine from my home town and 13 out of 26 seniors are going to NDSU and 2 were going to und. Then I looked in the Bismarck papers graduation insert and out of the 71 honor students that were going to NDSU or und, 44 to NDSU, 27 to und. This covered a large part of western ND and about 30 of the schools listed where their honor students were going to college.
It wasn't that long ago when this was the complete opposite. I guess the message has made its way to western ND even without the Bismarck Tribunes help.

Just wait though... in three weeks, "updated" numbers will be released showing und in the lead, and the Tribune will supplement the story with an inch-high headline above the fold on page 1.

At Mott-Regent there are 9 going to NDSU, I don't think any are going to UND. I just heard that Brock Gion is going to try and walkon for the football team. Good luck Brock!

This is great news. There have been high school senior surveys out for a couple years <citation needed, to lazy to research> that have listed NDSU as the university of choice among ND grads. I thought I had read somewhere that it was the second or third university of choice among Minnesota seniors as well. Anyone have any supporting documentation?

we are the 'school of choice' for minnesota students going out-of-state. which is crazy considering iowa state, wisconsin, and wisconsin-river falls.

Also, NDSU is the college of choice by 3 times more Minnesota students than SDSU. hmmm, Fargo or Brookings, tough decision there.

Does Minnesota have reciprocity with South Dakota? I nearly certain that they do with Wisconsin.

SD has full reciprocity with MN and partial with ND (or at least that's what it was when I went to school).

I have been asking anyone and everyone I run into about where they goto college at.. where WILL they go.

I hear NDSU at least 75% of the time, and its not even close. its amazing.
