What happened to Sr. catcher Gavin Hofer?

I live out of the area and follow the Bison by box scores etc...Is Gavin Hofer the starting catcher hurt? He was hitting well early on and has just seemed to have disappeared. Anyone know?

He injured himself going after a foul ball falling into a dugout I heard. Suffered a head injury I believe and has post concussion syndrome.
