Last year, the Gopher ball (a loss) went for around $2700.

Any guess on what the Ruley items will bring?

On a sidenote--I just hope Lakes' mere presence at that UM game doesn't drop the value of the game ball too much.

items #22,23and 24 were either not in the auction or not part of the package. Namely the gift cards. They may have been added to the $5 Grab Bags. Items 15,16 and 17 could not be found either. My wife and I went up and down the taables 4 times. We like to bid on these items every year.

Aside from the jerseys at the lockerroom sale, I was a bit disappointed in this years selection. I tried talking my wife into allowing me to bid on the golf cart up for auction. Bison Golf Cart = Marital Dispute.

Not sure what intentions your reply has...I guess I only made this original post as we were looking to bid on these items but could not find them. Just wondering if any one knows what happened to them. Not accusing anyone of anything. We did ask the young man watching the tables but he had no idea what was suppose to all be there.

I took the feather to 250 but a 300 came in at the end and I didn't go over it. I have another one with a pintail duck on it from Andy Knudson up in Towner ND and it would have looked great in the office with that one.

The feather was very cool. PL, nice, I always wondered what those things looked like in person.

Did I see that right? The Gopher ball only went for $600?

Yes, thats it. CM ball went for $325 and Amy's last ball went for like $175 I think to 90Bison. Mary Alice was not bidding on the Gopher game ball, she was bidding on the Gopher photo ball signed by the whole team. I asked if she was going to bid on it and she said, "No, I already have one of those (last years ball), I want that one (poining to the photo ball with Rohl running the ball on the Gopher game signed by the whole team). A lady with the last name Carlson dropped like 2 G's. She bought the Gopher ball, the CM ball, Joe's supposid game jersey (which it really wasn't) and many other things. ;)

how do you know it wasn't one he wore?

He wore it one time by accident because BG's helper gave him the wrong jersey. There was a #8 in a larger size that was for Andy Thorson. Joe has his real #8 Wilson. NDSU still has both his Nike #8's from last year and I have his whites from 2006 and 2007. So, you could say it was game used for a half before he figured out it wasn't his, but Joe has his REAL Wilson Green #8. He also wore two helmets during his career. He wore one for his 1st two years (which I have) and he wore a concussion sensative one his last two years (which he has). ;)

Sure. It was not the jersey the majority of people assumed it to be. Thats all I was saying. ;)

Did the people running the auction ever actually know the details?

*So, what you're saying is that a simple article of clothing takes on a whole new existence, only because somebody wore it for a few brief moments? Nice. Count me in. We'll start with my shoes. By next year, I'll need a new pair anyway.

What does the bidding start at? And is it for the shoes, or for you to keep them on? I hear the smell of your feet can rival the garbage dump on a hot day.
