McFeely had an article about the 7 footer going to Moorhead State, who's 40-yard time is apparently measured in days. However, he made the statement the first 7-footer in the FM area was some kid from Concordia in 1983. My question is didn't NDSU have a 7 footer back in about 1975. I think his name was Cliff Bell or something like that. He came out of Canada and was a converted volleyball player. He had limited success with the Bison as I recall. Anyone remember him?

I thought at the time Cliff Bell was listed as 6'11.

It depends on who was measuring Cliff at the time.

I had a bigger vertical than cliff bell

But Cliff probably had double the vertical of that 300 pounder going to Moorhead State.

I remember watching the Omaha Racers CBA team with 7-footer Greg Wiltjer. The line was that his jumping ability made him play like 6'4". They brought in another 7-footer, Warren Martin, and he never got healthy enough to play.
