Heitkamp is going to have Bohl on sometime coming up. I just caught the end of him talking about it so I don't know if it is going to be in the nex 10 minutes or 2 hours but it sounds like Bohl is going to be on.

Heres a quick run down

- Thanked Casselton for the hospitality and that it was good to be out there.

- Compared the trials and tribulations of spring football this year to farmers trying to get into the field. You just can't do much when it is so wet

- Talked Walker being done but Mertens coming in. He said Mertens has matured and scrimmaged well but you never know until game time as it is different playing in a scrimmage than in front of 19,000 fans on game day.

- MLB Henry is penciled in to start there. He has made a impact but not the impact of Mays

- Talked about Drago and how will miss his ability to turn the field over when needed. Also talked a little about his Oscar worthy performance at the end of the Minnesota game

- Talked about now be playoff elegible and that he WANTS TO BRING A HOME PLAYOFF GAME TO THE FARGODOME

- Talked about how tough the gateway will be and that UNI will be a grudge match and be about good hard nosed football

- Said the rep the coaches have been getting around the country is very good and respected. NDSU is a place you want to come to and coach as we have moved people up the latter very well and brought up Moore and also the coaches at Tampa Bay.

You do realize Dan Hammer would work exclusively with NDSU if he were allowed, right?

Yeah, Joel was wearing a "State of North Dakota" shirt at the U of M game....saying this was good for the state. He wouldn't admit that he was becoming a Bison Fan. Hammer would work for NDSU in a second. He knows how the two schools have changed since NDSU went D1.

You can say what you want, but Hammer is still a Sue fan and would never do justice in being the voice of the Bison. And what will happen to his little buddy Tank, would he roam the sidelines, can't see that. Keep Scotty and Phil, you can't go wrong with those two.

You are not the type to make things up, so this intrigues me since I don't think for a second he would want to work exclusively for NDSU. What do you know?

Tank is the program director of the Fan, he has no affliation to Hammer calling games for the Sioux, so even bring him into the discussion first and foremost?
Have you ever actually talked to Hammer or are you just saying he's a Sioux fan because he's the radio voice? Lakes is fan of the Gophers hockey team, he must be a big Gopher fan then. Do you realize one of the reasons he covers the Sioux is because they are news within his viewing audience? If his radio program was just in Fargo, I could understand being upset about him talking about the Sioux. Unfortuntely, it's not and he has to try and reach his total audience. For him being a Sioux fan, it's shocking how much he does cover NDSU

I know if Hammer got the chance, he would jump at the chance to work for NDSU.

SIRHINN is right about me.. I LOVE GOPHER HOCKEY.. theres a ton of NDSU fans that are gopher hockey fans..... like Dubay on KFAN said durin the NDSU-UMINN football games...... he said that "rivalry" the past 2 years at the metrodome was a true FRIENDLY fun rivalry.... everyone partied together before and after the game......

Hammer/joel will always be loyal to them up there.. so this is a moot point

He had a chance - when Gene was interviewing for bringing our media in-house he was Gene's number 1 guy. He went to 740am instead. The job was his if he wanted it.
