Overall: 22-1, 0-0 in Pac-10. (6-0 vs. Top 25).
Weekend Series: 2-0.
Notes: The Sun Devils will have four days off after getting through a stretch of 11 games in 13 days, including their first loss of the season against Northern Colorado. Junior 1B Ike Davis had another monstrous weekend, going 12-for-22 with two homers, three doubles, six runs and eight RBIs to raise his overall average to .444 through 90 at-bats. Sophomore OF Jason Kipnis started the weekend just as hot, going 8-for-13 with two doubles, a triple, a homer and six RBIs over the first three games. Freshman RHP Seth Blair (3 IP, 5 H, 4 ER) started and took the lone loss against Northern Colorado. In Sunday's win against UC Irvine, sophomore RHP Mike Leake (9 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 9 K) improved to 5-0, 2.70 with 42-2 K-BB in 40 IP.
