I remember when the Scheel's in Minot was not much more than a glorified small town hardware store that also happened to sell a few sporting goods. They've sure come a long way since then.:nod:

They sure have. I remember when Scheels in Fargo was located downtown and sold some sporting equipment in their hardware store. Stopped by the new Scheels this past January and was in awe.

If they built a Scheels in the twin cities they would blow everything else out of the water!!!!! Dicks sucks a fat...well just look at their name same with Sports Authority. Guess the only thing about Scheels moving into the TC area would be they would have to compete more with specialty shops that have been in the area for years, such as bike and ski shops, Gander Mtn., Cabelas, etc.... But I still wish they had one in the TC area!
