Bon-Jovi is playing at the Fargodome that weekend, that's why the spring game is on a Thursday rather than the usual Saturday.

Well, if there were tickets left for Bon Jovi, those who have to drive more than a couple hours could have made a long weekend trip to Fargo: Thursday - Travel to Fargo, shop at Scheels, tailgate, watch spring game, stop in for a few more beers at local watering holes.
Friday - Sleep in. Check out new buildings around campus, golf if nice weather, shop at west acres, tour air museum, etc. At night party and dine at the new Hub entertainment complex.
Saturday - Sleep in. Do whatever you didn't do Friday during the day and then attend the Bon Jovi concert.
Sunday - Rest. Eat a nice Brunch somewhere and head home.

Yeah, definitely need to check those out. The highlights show both of Paschall's TD runs - both of which were pretty nice. Also a hit from Belmont that hurt to watch (I'll be glad when our D is hitting non-Bison).

Lots of good stuff. The only bad: the play where Wurzbacher probably got rung up (they think he might have a concussion). Scary.

It wasn't a perfect day (two fumbled snaps stick out), but this is his offense.

He picked apart the No. 2 defense. But in the three series when the No. 1 offense faced the No. 1 defense, the results were mixed and the play chart went like this:

1-10: Mertens pass complete to Landon Smith for 13 yards.

1-10: Mertens fumbled snap.

2-10: Mertens 13-yard pass to Smith.

1-10: Mertens incomplete pass

2-10: Mertens incomplete

3-10: Mertens quarterback sack.

The two No. 1s went head-on for two more plays:

1-10: Mertens complete to Alex Belquist for 14 yards

1-10: Mertens and Belquist again for 15 yards.

And finally ..

1-10: Paschall 9 run

2-1: Mertens incomplete

3-1: McNorton 7 run
