I think he is overqualified for fan of the year. He is already fan of the decade.

Personally, I think Road should have a fan championship belt to wear around tailgating and games. A belt like professional wrestling champs have. :D

Wow, don't knock youselves out! Big bucks for a major award!

Russ Smith on KXMC in the late 70's and early 80's used to give $100 for winning the NFL picking contest in Minot. I would think you could offer a little more in 2008.

Not only has Road been to 306 straight foorball games. But this year he has attended a few, including the CA tournament, weekend road MBB and WBB games and most of the home Volleyball, Soccer, Softball, Wrestling and Basketball games. Did I miss anything.

Sorry but whats holding people back is the plug you want. I wouldn't mind nominating Road and telling you why he is the Bison fan of the year, but I am not going to spend time making a SME banner, nor is he (I assume). ;)

You don't need to make a banner....That was optional. Some people sent in pictures with the girls...others didnt send anything but their written response.

I left BG in charge and he dropped the ball :D. In my opinion they want someone they can exploit on their website (someone with a homemade SME banner or pictures with the girls). Road wins hands down in my book and the other Bison fans book and thats all that matters. He was honored by Gene between quarters this fall as the fan of the year. We actually should have nominated Wyoming and sent in the pic of him grinning from ear to ear in his rain slicker with a girl under each arm. AND to think he attended that game on a whim, purchasing the ticket days before the game. It certainly appeared he was happy with the decision and he hadn't even entered the Dome yet. ;)
