IMHO, Josh Horner will be continuing the NORTH DAKOTA State runningback tradition.
I'm partial to ND kids, but that video is awesome!!

That was fun to see again. Breaks lots of tackles. I wonder if we will see him as a return man this year?

The Bison have to have one of the deepest pool of outstanding RB in the FCS next year. I would hate to be a defense trying to stop Roehl, McNorton, Paschall, Voigtlander, Jangula, and Blincoe.

Very impressive. A man playing among boys, that will change at the next level to some extent. He doesn't even appear to be running that hard most of the time, just kind of coasting along. It's pretty apparent that if you don't stop him right out of the backfield, it ain't gonna happen. Some of the cuts he makes are just sick, could make a lot of DB's look sick.

wow, I'm impressed SloStang! Most Bison fans can't even spell half of those names correctly let alone all at once. :D

Hope to see you guys in the playoffs :)

If we do see the Bison in the playoffs, I sure hope it is in San Luis Obispo. Fargo has to be one of the toughest places to play in the FCS.

Good luck in 2008.

I had to watch DJ's video again and I can't wait to see (likely hear) about his performance at the spring game. I was able to watch one of the scrimmages last fall and he really impressed me. He and Paschall will push each other next year for the backup / shared position with Roehl. I also expect Voightlander will push Blincoe for fourth on the depth chart. Wow, exciting times at RB are ahead with all the excellent athletes at this position. If the O-line can step up and manage to be as good as last year there will be some big yardage gains out of the backfield. Most important is the coaches taking advantage of Mertens arm to stretch the field and keep a defense honest.

Mertens throws a very nice ball. If he can keep the deep threat open and keep the safeties from sucking up, the running game next year is going to be great. DJ will be seeing a lot of time I expect. To be this deep at RB and be able to throw fresh legs at opponents in the 4th quarter is going to be great.
