Bison win 90-82. Attendance was 3,341. UMKC was stingier than the portions at New York NY Fresh Deli in the last 4 minutes or so. They would not let the game end, even when we had the thing sewn up.

Woodside dominated tonight. He really had his game going.

That game was ok, great 1st half but a bit of a let down in the 2nd half. Woody was unstoppable for most of the game and Coleman really impressed me defensively. Would have liked to see the team bury them when they had them down but a win is a win. Hopefully they can put it all together for the game next Friday with the Rabbits.

That's the exact thing I had to go through. I was out doing errands, and came back to campus at around 7:15. I didn't get inside the BSA until the 15 min. mark of the 1st half. I decided to park in the R Lot, because I thought it would be a shorter walk than from my apartment. I was wrong. The weather SUCKS outside.

This game was not as close as the final score due to how whistle happy the refs got in the last 3 minutes of the game. The Bison players were whistled for numerous touch fouls down the stretch. UMKC's coach must have had some effect on this crew when they got behind big in the second half.

Not taking anything away from UMKC's players however. They never gave up and hit big shots down the stretch. They will be tough at their place.

College basketball at this level is meant to be played with physical contact. I think the players would rather play in a game where a foul called should be obvious, not "oops" I bumped into you.

It was nice to see Coleman and Vaughan receive more playing time. They really added some nice things, especially defensively. Freddy gives a spark on offense, and Josh has improved his ball handling. Mike Tweidt didn't play as much, deservedly so. He has a tendency to disappear in most of the games; however, I fully believe he will improve after another year in the system.

Interesting that Vaughn started and not Tweet. Vaughn actually played pretty well. Also, No Zo. Surprised he is not playing more since his return.

We're waiting in KC for the Bison to come down and play UMKC. I hope we can come up with a sweep of UMKC for the year. We'll do our best to counter the cheering that UMKC will get from their sparsely attended home games.
