As of Dec. 31st (and these are not updated as both Oral Roberts and SDSU won games yesterday) here are where the Bison place in various team stats (these are just for conference games):
Scoring:
Bison 2nd with 73.3 ppg: Oakland is first with 78 ppg.
Scoring margin:
Bison are 6th at 0.0, Oakland is first with 25 ppg
FG%:
Bison are 8th at .386, Oakland is first with .488
3 pt FG%:
Bison are 9th at .237, IPFW is first with .41o
Rebounding margin:
Bison are 5th, -.05, Oakland is first with +15.5 (overall the Bison are 2nd including the rebounding debacle at Minnesota and the huge board advantage against the Bobcats)
Assists:
Bison are 3rd with 17.00 apg: Oakland is 1st with 22.50 apg
Blocks:
Bison are 1st with 8.00 game (in all games the Bison are first as well).
Assist/TO ration:
Bison are 3rd at 1.00 even, Oakland is at 1.55
Granted Oakland has played its first two games at home against lower level conference teams - UMKC and SUU - but they also lead the conference in most of these stats through all games as well, and that includes going up against Florida State, Auburn, Georgia and W. Virginia. They're a pretty fundamentally solid team.
