Wondering if anyone thinks he could help? He's played in only 7 of 11 games and averaging less than 5 minutes per game. Averaging 1.4 points per game as a sophmore for Michigan State. Maybe he could "ignite" his old high school classmate Josh Vaughan ???

One would be crazy not to speculate on him considering transferring with the recruits they even have coming in next year. They have big time recruits who will both play the 2 and 3 and who should contribute right away. Hard to see him getting lots of PT the next 2 years at MSU.

He would be a nice addition. Would have to sit a year giving him more time to bulk up. After talking to his Mother though it seems he his somewhat content with being with the Spartans. Hasn't given up hope on increasing his playing time. He has 2 sisters playing ball one is in 9th and one in 7th. Both play varsity and the youngest is dynamite.

Yes, we offered Dahlman a scholarship--the one Eric Carlson got and the only one available that year. Carl hasn't done anyth...oh wait--it looks like he went for 32 points and 12 boards tonight. Made a couple of unbelievable plays to win us a game.

Strange timing to revive this long dead thread.

Do we always offer the maximum alloted D1 scholarships? Some years it seems like our bench is alot smaller than others.

Maybe they all have loads of walkons?

or maybe kids playing more than one sport.

Seems like ORU typically has 15-16 players.

The Bison men's team has always used the maximum 13 (the women's program is another story). The bench is shorter some years because some of the 13 scholarships are being used by players who are redshirts or who are ineligible for a year after transferring from another program.

Right now, the team is down to 12 scholarship players because Taylor Baxter transferred at semester break. Jordan Aaberg was sidelined by a concussion and will probably redshirt. Dylan Hale transferred from Texas State and he will be eligible for competition next fall.

Seems like most schools have atleast one walk on sometimes 2 or 3.
