Bison win 67-64. Great game for the ladies. THey had to come back from 7 points down to win it in the last couple of minutes.

Nice win on the road.

Moran had her shot back going 7-10 and tallying 18 points. Bue was Bue and Slyt just shied short of a double-double. Penly had a standout game with 11 points, some great presence down low (4 offensvie boards) and 4 blocks.

Plucker, Shea, Walseth, Lemnus and Hodgson also saw playing time.

I watched this on the horizon channel and noted the following observations:

UW-Milwaukee isn't a very athletic team although they looked bigger thanthe Bison - save for Penley - who looked huge. Milwaukee had one player, Turquoise McCain who gave the bison fits.

Giordat did a good job of running the offense- handling the ball. Bison were making a living off of backdoor cuts.

Bison could stand to be a little more patient with the ball. There were a couple of plays where they could have passed around the perimeter to free up a cutter or an open three point attempt but they attacked the seams and tossed up a low percentage shot.

Bue was a force...she may be the only player who can consistently CREATE. She had some nice pull up attempts.

When Walseth gets in, good things happen that may not show upon the stat sheet. But she reminds me of Lacey Johnson who was a utility player capable ofdoing a lot of little things.
