Lone Star Duals

Bison will be traveling to Texas to compete in the tough lone star duals on January 4-5. They will wrestle Div II Champions and past nemesis Central Oklahoma who is very tough. They will also wrestle Appalachian State, Harvard (who is ranked in the top 25), and Eastern Michigan. They will need to be ready to compete against these teams as none of them are slouches.
They have looked pretty good this year and should be better after Christmas when Eric Hoffman @ 125 and Ryan Adams @ 149 are back in the lineup both NCAA Qualifiers. After the Lone Star Duals they will travel to the Virginia duals where they placed 7th last year in a tough field. They better relax when they can because when they get back from Christmas it looks like they will have their work cut out for them.
I think the Bison could crack the top 25 in a year or two when some of the tough underclassmen get some experience and they keep wrestling this type of competition.

THE only time. Sucks big time but what can you do? Don't worry I'll keep you guys updated though. Bisoncraze and me seem to be the wrestling experts :D .

Bison drop first dual to Appalachian State 26-16

so far the Bison are 1-2 on the day defeating Harvard 25-17 and falling to App. St. 26-16 and losing to Cal-Fullerton 24-12. i haven't heard the score from the final dual against old rival Central Oklahoma, i will post it as soon as i hear.

Lost to Central Oklahoma 20-18.:mad: (they are D2 but they are a very strong team) Not a very good day but this is just practice for the big time in March. On a bright spot we did beat Harvard who was ranked at one time. (not sure if they still are????) And Eric Hoffman was undefeated at 125 for the day. it looks like other than hoffman, everybody else won 2 or 3 , so it looked like a pretty balanced day, just couldnt put it all together
