Both players did well tonight, Callahan was on fire and Williams can play, he had a really nice dunk on an inbound pass under the basket. SDSU seems to have things going in the right direction.

Gophers get the Jackrabbits at the barn, 78-72. Jacks led by as much as 9 and held a slim lead much of the first half...Gophers maintained a two or three-point lead much of the second half. Close to the wire...down to the final 20 seconds when the Jacks had to foul so the Gophers stood at the line to make it a six-point margin.

Jacks outrebounded the Gophers 41-26.

Gophers shot very well in the second half...around 58%.

Bison fans might get a kick out of the ESPN recap of the Gopher game. Geez, a story about a "scrappy" Jackrabbit team and the Bison still get mentioned (discussion later in the story about the Summit League which includes SDSU's chief rival, NDSU).
