Gosh. :banghead: Gosh. :banghead: Gosh. :banghead: Neat deal. :banghead: Neat success. :banghead: Do we think we’re strong enough with enough resources to always PLAY in a CONFERENCE tournament in women’s basketball? :banghead: Yeah, life was easy in Division II. But life was easy. Easy with scheduling. Easy with recruiting. It was easy financially. (Ask the coaches how easy it was especially the lower funded ones) :banghead: NDSU’s women’s basketball budget is very good ($774,000 that includes $320,000 for operating, $187,000 for scholarships and $267,000 for salaries and benefits). :eeek: I think about trying to make sure the resources are available and all the necessary amenities are in place to be successful, and I think we’re highly competitive at the mid-major level with our budget and think we are highly competitive with the resources our student athletes get. (Then why do we not have the ATHLETES to have more then just two wins against the same team? 304 RPI right now)

Here is a startling fact opening the confrence tonight out of 341 teams...
332- Western Illinois (0-6) 318th sched
328- Centenary (1-6) 310th sched
311- Southern Utah (0-6) 194th sched
304- NDSU (2-4) 327th sched
275- IUPUI (3-6) 302nd sched
199- IPFW (2-3) 179th sched
198- ORU (3-2) 314th sched
105- Missouri KC (5-2) 156th sched
51- SDSU (5-2) 98th sched
38- Oakland (3-2) 17th sched

2-4 record with only 14 teams in the country with easier schedules then ours. Our only two wins are against #337. If that isnt a major sobering fact about exactly where our program is right now I dont know what is.
