What a joke on coach of the year voting. Bohl is out and Stieglemeier from SDSU is in! This contest has totally lost all credibility with me.

I got something against Stig.......he is mediocre at best. His teams are up and down performance wise. Might win a big game but then lose to a DIII team. Not very consistent. He doesn't hold a candle compared to Bohl.

The difference is you are probably going to see Stig at SDSU for the next 20 years. Bohl on the other hand will most likely be a hot commodity after next season.

There were either more SDSU fans that went in and voted, and Boll just isn't liked because he is so good around D1AA.

All of our errors were forced. The Jacks come into the game with more intensitity, a direct result of their coach getting his team up for the game. Something we had a problem with in more than one game this year.

Its an online poll...of course its flawed. Its merely a popularity contest to see who can get the most votes. The only polls that should be taken seriously are ones that have been scientifically planned out using a valid random sampling technique.

The way I see it, the only way to settle this is to get Stig, Bohl, Kill and all the other finalist for COY and have them battle it out in a steel cage death match. 5 men enter, 1 man leaves...with the COY honors.

FYI....

Stig came in 13th in the fan voting portion of the contest. Which, by the way, only makes up 20% of the formula which determines the winner. Out of the 5 finalists, he's currently ranked 4th in the fan voting portion.

Well in my portion of the contest fan ranking would match up the coach with a weapon. The higher the fan vote, the more dangerous the weapon they would start the battle royale with. 13th would get Stig a stick.

Mays could be outlawed, even for a no holds barred/to the death event like the COY award show. How about the leg of Dragosovich? Extremely powerful and accurate, also gives the user a huge reach advantage.

The new, hip thing with the kids is to compare Chuck to Jack Bauer...I think Jack could be a viable option as well.
