I don't think this kid is a one hit wonder, who knows how good he will be but I gotta say I'm excited about what I have seen and heard.

He's verballed and they joke in the Argus leader article about his "greatest hits" so I don't think this is his only one.

The Jacks were also recruiting Evens, but some on jacksfans thought he might "be out of our league" and go FBS. I would think the Jacks might know more about Evens being he is from South Dakota. They probably have followed him for a while.

From what I have heard down here in SD, Preston Evans is known to deliver some crushing tackles.

Preston Evans hurt tonight in bball game!!!!

But he returned to the game a little later. He was trying to save a ball from going out of bounds and landed funny. He was on the floor for about 5 minutes holding his knee. He came back with it wrapped and played very well after that.

Please tell me he did the Peter Griffin thing by holding his knee and going "Ow, ow, ow, ow..." for the entire five minutes.

I can just see "Rabbit" at the game when the injury happened.....Leaning over to tell his buddy...."This is awesome, I can't wait to get home and post on Bisonville that the best player in SD, that they took from our backyard just tore his knee up......Then, I will leave about 12 inches of space as they get all nervous before I tell them that he returned to the game. It is going to be awesome!!!"

Thanks for the inside info on Preston. We look forward to him being a BISON.

Sort of, but no. The part about making you nervous, yes. They part about saying, "this is awesome..."

Oh, and you guys didn't get the best player out of South Dakota this year. Iowa did. You got the second best player.
