Stay at least a block away and don't be wearing something to set somebody off, and they can entertain after the match, too. :D Just be careful and ready to make a quick exit. :hide:

NDSU is leasing the land to the city for 100 (or 99?) years. I don't believe NDSU has any tenant requirements going out that far.

Doubt there will be soccer in the Fargodome, as the floor is not large enough for a proper pitch. One of the reasons why the seating is so far from the sidelines in the Alerus is due to it being able to accommodate soccer.

I was being facetious as the video was of a soccer match. :D PL

Check this out if you have a few minutes. It'll be Oklahoma St.'s new facilities. State of the art, better than the pro's use, I bet.

NDSU really needs a incredibly rich alumni to donate some money to us. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they just get a donation of a 800 million dollars from some oil executive?

T. Boone Pickens has donated about $300 million to OSU, about 90% of it to the athletic department. He made his money as a corporate raider in the 80s. So he's been in a number of businesses including energy and mining. He's doing the hedge fund thing now and apparently is building the world's largest wind farm among his many other interests.

Call me crazy but I'd rather have a momentum campaign that raises a 100 million then one guy just giving us a 100 million. Some of these big donors have way too much power within some universities and its doing just as much harm as it is good.

i agree with that. I just would like to have 100 million dollars (or more) and then debate about what to do with it. trust me, if I got that NDSU would get a fair share.

cmon lottery........

True if you have a nazi loving control freak donate the money but if you have a guy who could drop off $300 mill and then tell the university to do what's best, I see nothing wrong with that. Problem is, there probably isn't too many guys with $300 mill will to give it up without at least some stipulations.

Come on now, if you're going to extol the European fans, you got to take the good with the bad. You've got to admit, there are more than a few hooligans and rowdies mixed in their bunch.

Every club has them. Some more than others.
