I can tell you what we have so far:

Home:

Southern Illinois
Western Illinois
Indiana State
South Dakota State (REVENGE!!)
Central Connecticut State

Away:

Northern Iowa
Illinois State
Missouri State
Youngstown State

We still have 3 games to schedule. Georgia Southern I guess backed out, and Montana State is nowhere to be found.

Unfortunately, I don't know what order they're in. I believe CCSU is the opening game.

I've heard thru the grapevine that talks have been going on with Drake and Tennessee-Martin for home guarantees.

I wish we could've played Northern Iowa at home. That thing would sell out in 20 minutes.

I thought NDSU was going to schedule UC Davis for the next two years and SDSU was going to schedule Cal Poly for the next two years. I know SDSU has Cal Poly for 2008 and 2009.

I would think we're trying to get at least one of them. Probably UC Davis. It looks like Cal-Poly is already chock full of road games next year, and we need home games.

They were talking hypothetically about this year. The UNI game is on the road next year. So, they will come to Fargo in 2009. ;)

Coach said on his last show that Taylor is talking about a game with Iowa St. for next yr. and I think he mentioned one other school but not sure. Cal Davis at home would be great.

I really hope they schedule an OPEN week somewhere in the middle so that our players have an extra week for healing/rest, it makes a big difference and could have made a difference this year. IMO

Iowa State is in 2009, not next year.

I say don't rule it out for 2008. Both NDSU and the Cyclones have September 27 open. It is no secret that they are talking. Coach Bohl mentioned it during his show, knowing full well that his statements would spark rumors on the issue. I wouldn't hold my breath for too long, but also wouldn't be too surprised to see an announcement later this winter.

We already have an open date Nov 1 when we get to play the 2's and 3's against Indiana St.

On the Coach Bohl show he was saying that there is only one more team to find...meaning that we are missing two teams on the lists here...he also mentioned that we are trying to get 7 home games...that must mean we are at 6 homes and 5 aways right now...

Iowa State has SDSU to open the season and you can only count 1 FCS game a year for bowl eligibility. I highly doubt there is any talk for next year.

;) If Iowa State plays both SDSU and NDSU, it gives them two opportunities to get that one victory. With these two, its highly likely that they may need to schedule yet another FCS team to get that one win. ;)

Sorry the sarcasm missed. My simple point: Don't automatically assume a win when an FBS team plays one of the xDSU teams. The Bison proved it this year, and the Jacks are not that far behind.

I don't think SDSU plays MN until 2009.......in the new TCF Stadium. It will be interesting to see how many SDSU fans show up for that game.

Or how many will fit. The new stadium is only being built to hold 50,000. That would have only left room for 15,000 to 20,000 of us.

I will go and watch SDSU vs the goofers. I'm undecided on who to rout for however. Probably the Jacks but if they beat us again I'm definately routing for the goofs.

Yeah, I'd be torn as to who to cheer for as well. Maybe just a good chance to go check out the new stadium. I do believe the 11/14/2009 schedule says the Bison are at ISU that day, so it may be a good chance to go to Mpls.

Yeah the Iowa State game is 9/5/2009.....first game of the season, I suppose. That will be good to have a great Bison turnout for that game in Ames for sure!

about 6 1/2 hours depending on how fast you drive and when you hit the cities.

455 miles going through the cities which is the shortest and fastest way to go. 6 hours drive time. PL

Less than 200 from Rochester, already circled on my calendar. We do spring golf trips there. If you can work it in, IA St plays at the Harvestor, #1 course in Ia, about 20 miles outside of Ames.

That's easy, I'm guessing its a three day weekend plus it's the day after my birthday. Looks like a road trip from western ND is in the works, complete with golf courtesy of SH.

Every season in the gateway is going to be brutal. this conference could easily have everyone beating up on each other week after week. I don't think there will be too many undefeated conference champs in the Gateway.

In its 22 years of existence, the champ was undefeated in conference play only 8 times. That's a tough conference!

looks like the conference schedule is done for the next 2 years. It's out on gobison.com. We get the bunnies in Brookings on Oct 17 in 2 years. I liked it better at the end of the year but I like our chances in Brookings better on Oct 17 instead of Nov 17th.
