The selection process for this recognition is rather interesting. The fan vote counts 20%. The top 25 coaches from each of 4 divisions as recognized by the fans then are appraised by predetermined criteria. The finalists (10 in DI, 5 each in DiAA - their words - DII, and DIII) from this grouping are then submitted to selected Hall of Fame voters (55% of the vote) and National Media (25% of the vote).

Looks like some lobbying may be needed in addition to simply voting. The comment box next to your vote can be used to provide thoughtful responses.

It's a given that Bohl will no longer be our coach in a few years. And I'm cool with that. He's been given a ton a press and everyone knows he's the man. So why are we trying to give him more press? Do we want him to go? I voted for Mike Farley of Northern Iowa.

Hiding talent by denying recognition usually results in a disenfranchised individual. It does not foster teaming or drive for results. I respect your vote for Mike Farley IF you truely believe he is the better coach.

Personally, I believe that Coach Bohl is the top coach in the DIAA. I can only hope that Coach Bohl understands that each of my votes says 'Thank You' for his commitment and excellence.

Bohl has had articles written about him in the USA Today and his team was on ESPN. Our Athletic Director talked about preparing for the loss of Bohl. I doubt he's lacking recognition. Bohl could run for mayor right now and win. I agree with you but it's on a smaller level. The guy has his own radio and tv show too. I just don't want to lose him after this year. He's well deserving and will be gone in either 1 or 2 years.

What, do some of these other team's fans have absolutely nothing else to do. The thing I don't like about the standings is you have absolutely no idea of numerical standings, good grief the leader could have 50K more votes than the 2nd place guy and you would never know it.:confused:
