Grambling St. has a good shot, and Ga. Southern will probably still win yet.

The last two DI-AA teams to win two games in a season against DI-A competition: UCONN and Troy State.

Where are they now?

I'm assuming that there was a typo in your 9/29 game with your Northwestern 75 Texas Tech 7 score??

I work with two alumni from Rice. They can't figure out why they have a football team anymore. I didn't realize how small of a school it was

WHY SHOULD NORTH DAKOTA STATE BE NO. 1?

The Bison have been ranked No. 1 in the FCS Coaches Poll the last three weeks and second in the Sports Network Poll and GPI. NDSU has two wins over FBS teams in Central Michigan and Minnesota—something that has not happened for a FCS team in since 1992 when The Citadel accomplished the feat. NDSU also owns wins over five other FCS opponents to also be 7-0 to this point. The Bison have defeated Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State, Western Illinois, UC Davis, and Mississippi Valley State. Of NDSU’s victories, four of the seven have been on the road. NDSU owns the longest Division I winning streak with 11 straight victories.

The Bison have outscored their opponents on the average 39.1 to 20.4. They have outgained their opponents on the average of 469.7 yards to 323.9 yards. Their opponent’s record thus far is a combined 18-30.

NDSU has four games left with two on the road and two at home. NDSU has some of their toughest opponents left with Illinois State and Southern Utah visiting Fargo, while they travel to former Top 25 Cal Poly and Dakota Marker rival South Dakota State. Their combined record is 11-18 of the remaining teams.
